Holy Cow! Door Prizes! Fantastic! Mary Carlson, President of the Twin Lakes Computer Users Group, has joined us in organizing our dinner, and made the suggestion that we give out Geeky Door Prizes. Well, gee boy howdy, we have come up with some down right cool door prizes!Some years ago, Anita Olen (Bill's mother) worked for Waterford Crystal in New Jersey and bought many "seconds", pieces with slight flaws that could not be sold to the public. Some of these have come into our possession, and we are offering them as prizes. Yes, we know, not exactly a geeky prize, but hey, it's a wine tasting geek dinner, so why not.
We have two pairs of Waterford Universal Wishes Flutes that you can see here, and one pair of 8" Candlesticks similar to these. So, Misty asks, "What about the Geeky Door Prize?" How about pocket protectors that glow in the dark or something that is actually a cool geek prize? Suggestions?
